Get Train Operator Info With TrainTimes 2.03

My Great Britain train time table application for RISC OS called TrainTimes has been upgraded to version 2.03

New in this version is a slight oversight fix in which if wget has not been seen by the filer then the buttons on the window informing the user about that did not work it does now.

The new feature in it is the ability to view the train operator in any of the windows by clicking on the icon Operator or from the more info menu in the station details window.

I have a short YouTube video of it in action.

It does require a working internet connection and wget to work.

The timetable data comes from Realtime Trains API, with National Rail supplying the station and train operator information.

TrainTimes Version 2.02

My Great British train time table application for RISC OS called TrainTimes has been upgraded to version 2.02

This version fixes a few bugs, some cosmetic changes, some improvements and a couple of spelling mistake.

The bugs fixes are that on the future station time table window if a train had no train id that would create a crash, the other bug fix is that it was possible to have a line to long BASIC error when data that has been fixed by changing the way I get wget to fetches the data.

The cosmetic change is that between the hours and minutes on the times a colon is used.

The improvements is in the calendar which use current time and date and remembers them.

The spelling mistakes are in the station data window and corrected by Harriet Bazley.

It does require a working internet connection and wget to work with the data coming from Real Train Times and National Rail.

If you find this application useful or other of my applications useful why not purchase some of my merchandise or donate through my Ko-Fi pages.

I have some ideas for the next version so watch this space.

Currency Gets The Menu Treatment

New in this version is that by pressing the mouse menu button on the main window will open up a menu with 3 sub menus, which will allow you to set the currency to convert from and to and get country data. On the configure window pressing the mouse menu button will do the same but with just the first to options.

I have a few plans for future versions this one was a request from a user for the country data to have the country data in full rather then 1 Thousand, which I plan to have it as an option. Plus saving the country data the ability to save some or all of the country data.

The exchange rate data comes from the API layer site whilst the country data comes from the World Bank site.
