Launch GPX Files With BusTimes

My application that displays UK bus timetables BusTimes has been updated to version 1.11

New in this version is the ability not launch GPX file of the bus route timetable if an application that can render them has been seen by the filer like the excellent RISC OSM.

Plus a couple of bug fixes they are

In the bus stop selecting window the 2nd stop was missing

In the calendar window October had 30 days instead of 31

In the calendar window selecting September would cause a crash

Multi Stations Comes To TrainTimes

My UK train timetable application TrainTimes has been updated and uploaded to version 1.12

New in this version is a couple of bug fixes and a new feature

One bug fix is that when we are in October I for some strange reason had October having 30 days instead of 31 in the calendar window.

The other bug fix is that also in the calendar window when selecting the month of September would cause a crash.

The new feature is the ability to add and view more stations through the Multi Stations option.

QrCode Updated

My Qr Code creating application QrCode has been updated to version 1.04 after a request from a user.

New in this version is the ability to drag ACORN URI or ANT URL files into QrCode to get the web address into the text window.

RandUser Gets Save Webpage

My Random User application RandUser has had a couple of updates bringing it up to version 1.02

New in this version is that not is using 1.3 version of the API, the save image has been improved with the fact that the path name is preserved and you can now save the data as a web page.

Think of RandUser as a lorem lipsum for data rather than text.

Save as HTML Comes to Currency

My currency exchange rate application Currency has had a couple of updates they are.

A bug fix on that viewing the last 8 days exchange rates for months October to December stopped working.

The new feature is the ability to save the last 8 days exchange rates as HTML as well as CSV.

This application requires a working internet connection and Wget to work.

The data comes from Currency Converter API site.

Multi Stops Comes To BusTimes

My UK bus timetable application BusTimes has been updated and uploaded to version 1.10
New in this version is the ability to choose between 10 different bus stops, a few bug fixes and a few cosmetic changes.

The multistop window

The bug fixes are

  • When clicking on the Future date button in the Future date bus stop window you can select another future date
  • When clicking on a bus stop on a future date route it shows the busses for that stop as the date and time choosen.

The cosmetic change is that the future date button has been moved to the top of the window from the bottom of the window.

GPX Comes To BusTimes

I have updated and uploaded a new version of my UK bus timetable application BusTimes bringing it up to version 1.09

New in this version is the ability to save in other formats than plain text, they are:

  • HTML
  • CSV
  • GPX

The html information shows thectime, stop details and the ATCOcode, the csv file contains the same information plus the longitude and latitude of the bus stop, whilst the gpx file can be imported into the excellent RiscOSM so you can view where the bus stops are located.

The information contained in the gpx files is likely to change over time depending on feedback.

This application requires a working internet connection and wget to work with the data coming from the Transport API site.
