TrainTimes Find’s It’s Way To 1.17

My UK train timetable application for RISC OS called TrainTimes has had another upgrade soon after the previous upgrade.

The new features in this version is the ability to get a map of the station if Nominatim has been seen by the RISC OS filer on your computer.

On the station timetable and the future windows a Map button is displayed, if Nominatim has not been seen by the filer it will be greyed out, otherwise clicking on it will use Nominatim to launch the excellent RISC OSM mapping application with a pin where the station is.

On the train timetable window if Nominatim has been seen the clicking the Adjust mouse button (the right hand button) will open up a menu giving you a choice to either goto the station’s website through the National Rail Enquires web site or view a map of the station as above. If Nominatim has not been seen the you go straight to the station’s website.

TrainTimes requires a working internet connection and wget to work. The data comes from the Transport API website.

I have uploaded a short YouTube video of the new features in action.

If you like my software why not buy some of my merchandise or bung me some dosh through my Ko-Fi pages.
